Quality Walnut Maple & Co Antique Writing Table
This Quality Arts and Crafts late 19th Century Walnut Antique Writing Table is by the renowned makers Maple & Co and dates from ca. 1880. It has a central tooled leather with moulded top and shaped sides with ebonized edges. This sits above a Mahogany lined frieze drawer with brass handles and fine carved edges. This quality antique writing table stands on turned legs with white porcelain castors and has a shaped cross stretcher for added stability. It comes with wonderful charm, character and has aged to a warm Walnut shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
