Description
Rare Anemone miniature vase with shouldered form, tube line decoration and blue flowers on a pale blue ground, this is a fantastic early signed piece by William Moorcroft (1872-1945) in Art Nouveau style, as part of the Florian collection during his time working for J. Macintyre & Co in Burslem, UK. I would suggest this miniature vase was made around 1903. The vase is signed in green with printed factory stamp and numbered 60. The Florian Ware collection was widely celebrated and received the gold medal at the St Louis World Fair in 1904.

In very good condition with a small chip on the bottom. Some wear to the rim commensurate with age. This is indeed a true art object and a treasure. Signed in green.
