Here we have a particularly sweet naive Norwegian mangle board dated 1833. As you can see the mangle board has great colour and patina. These were given as marriage gifts to their owners and this one has the initial Aa and As and is dated 1833. This initials and date is simple punch decoration. The Birch handle is fastened by original hand made nails and there is a decorative punch holed and scribed border. A super piece of folk art in great retail condition ready for your home.
