This is an extremely good quality English Regency mahogany drum case bracket clock. The convex white enamelled dial is painted with Roman numerals and a pair of good quality period hands finish off the effect. The single train eight day fusee timepiece movement has been cleaned and restored. The lower part of the case has a feature brass viewing window and is inlaid with brass decorations and the case under the dial is fluted with tapered columns flanking the viewing window all atop a plinth base. The drum topped case has gadrooned cresting and brass finial to finish and the brass bezel is secured by a working lock and key. As with all my clocks this lovely piece comes with my three year guarantee as standard.
This is a rare piece and represents great value as well as looking markedly different to the more common styles of bracket clock.
