A lovely Regency Mahogany Library clock, signed "C.SEWELL. 4, Davies St., Berkley Square", from London.
The chamfered, step-top case is made from the finest quality mahogany as one would expect from the period. It is beautifully polished with brass inserts, lion-mask drop handles to the sides, and a gilt finial to the top. It stands on 4 brass ball feet.
The 5" enamelled dial has black Roman numerals, nicely cut hands, and is signed as above. It has a cast brass , key operated bezel and convex glass
The single fusee , 8 day movement has just been fully overhauled by our BHI registered staff and carries our usual 12mths full parts and labour guarantee.
Please note that the shown height includes the finial. The case is 33cm tall.
