The fame and importance of "Mouseman" crafted furniture and carved items etc. needs no introduction. Their skill and craftsmanship is world renowned
This longcase clock was made to order in 1975 - 50 years ago. It has been in the same family until it came to us.
The seasoned oak wood has developed a rich light brown patina as a result of age and judicious applications of raw linseed oil.
The original German movement is working well except it does not chime the full quarters; it chimes only once every hour.
Importantly, it comes with the original letter accepting the commission to make the clock and the invoice.
We have included some information leaflets and the brass stencil number plates for the clock.
Please note: The clock is exceptionally heavy because of the thickness and maturity of the wood.
