Seed Pearl & 14ct Yellow Gold Bar Brooch - Antique c.1890

This is a fine and impressive seed pearl, 14 carat yellow gold and 9 carat yellow gold set bar brooch; part our antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections This antique brooch has been crafted in 14 ct yellow gold. The antique bar brooch displays a feature seed pearl to the centre held in a scallop shell design. The scallop shell is ornamented with twenty-three further seed pearls of varying sizes. The bar of the brooch design reflects the formation of an arrow, with twelve pearls embellishing the pointed end and fourteen pearls to the feathered end. This impressive antique seed pearl brooch in gold secures to the reverse with a 9ct yellow gold hinged pin style fastening and benefits from the additional security of a fine link chain with a safety clip. The yellow gold bar brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading card. This brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as 14 ct and 9 ct gold.
