Seiko Wrist Watch 1967 Diashock 17j Ladies Cocktail Watch & Original Box FWO

Seiko Diashock high grade 17 jewel Ladies cocktail wrist watch in a chrome and stainless steel case, fabulous ivory/silver 'sunburst' dial and original 'Rhodine chrome bracelet strap. Complete with her original red Seiko box. C~February 1967. Full working order and keeps excellent time. (Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures as was extremely difficult to photograph). Dial:- Highly attractive bright silver/ivory coloured 'sunburst' dial which is in mint condition - absolutely no hairlines, marks or fading. Clearly stamped in bold black script; Seiko Diashock and stamped in black arched script to base of dial; Japan 1004-04005 Ad. Raised silver baton stick markers with original silver delphine hour and minute hands and silver sweep hand (unusual on a early Ladies watch), all in straight, un-marked order. Domed original crystal in super condition (no scratches, marks or chips) which has a faceted engine turned internal bezel which reflects the light beautifully. Case:- Original bright mirror finish silver chrome case which measures 1.4cm width (excluding the winder) and 2.4cm lug to lug. In excellent condition with no wear, indentations or scratches. The stainless steel, highly polished snap on back cover is clearly stamped to the outside; Seiko Stainless Steel, is numbered; 7200876 1004 - 0110 and is stamped to the inside; Japan A and is numbered again; 1004 - 0110. Movement:- Top grade Seiko 17 jewel lever movement which is stamped to the top plates; Seiko Japan 17J 1004D (D - Diashock). Original crisp winding crown which is free from any wear. Takes a very full and smooth wind. Hand set operates correctly. Strap:- Complete with original silver chrome engine turned bracelet strap which is clearly stamped to the back; Rhodine Ad and has a very secure fold over slide clasp which operates correctly, closing tightly. Box:- Original large (hard case) textured faux leather red box (still retains the raised gold Seiko badge to one side and plastic overlay sticker to base which is stamped; Made In Japan) with red velvet base and red silk to the internal lid which is clearly stamped in gold script; Seiko Precision Quality Elegance. Lovely condition with a little bit of overall patina and little storage marks commensurate with age.
