Set of 8 Cromwellian Style Dining Chairs

This fine quality set of 8 Cromwellian style dining chairs were made circa 1930. These are attributed to have been made by the prestige cabinetmakers Titchmarsh and Godwin. The set consists of 6 side chairs and a pair of carver chairs. Using the style of chairs from the Cromwellian period is perfect as they are well suited for use around large oak refectory dining tables. The chairs are covered in the fine original red leather with the large brass studs around the edges. The frames with the block and turned stretchers to the front and stretchers joining to the rear legs. This construction makes this style of chair very strong and able to cope with your rowdier dinner companions! These will look fantastic around an informal dining table and just imagine the pleasure these dining chairs will give you.
