Description
We Have for sale a lovely sterling silver Sheaffer Imperial fountain pen dating from around 1970.
This very attractive fountain pen consists of a diamond cut solid silver barrel and lid, furnished with a gold plated clip carrying the famed Sheaffer white dot. The fountain pen is fitted with a lovely 14ct yellow gold fine to medium nib and the original stainless steel removable filler. This filler was designed by Sheaffer so it could be used interchangeably with a Sheaffer ink cartridge. The barrel of the pen carries the UK import marks for London along with the 925 mark, and the gold plated clip also carries the 925 mark to its side. The nib is in an excellent 5 star condition and looks as if it has not been used.
The fountain pen is 130mm long and is in an excellent condition other than the very light surface wear one would expect from an over 50 year old fountain pen.
