Silver Bangle 1989 Vintage Highly Ornate Wide Silver Bracelet 40g 7" Length

Fabulous Vintage solid Sterling silver (fully hallmarked) very attractive leaf and scroll work decoration, Ladies wide bangle / bracelet with original silver safety chain. (Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 7" internal circumference, 1.2cm wide and weighs a heavy 40 grams. Beautiful, totally un-worn bright diamond cut, engine turned leaf and swirl decoration to the front which reflects the light beautifully. The back is smooth, highly polished (free from any inscriptions or initials) and has an attractive 'zig zag' engine turned adornment to either end. Lovely engine turned secure push down clasp which opens correctly, closing tightly with a very reassuring click (easy to operate) and the hinge on the opposite side is firm and true with absolutely no play. Stamped to the underside of the 'tongue' with a capital letter; W. The inside front of the bangle is fully and clearly hallmarked (within different shaped fancy recessed cartouches) with the Lion passant (Sterling silver), anchor (Birmingham assay) and capital scrolled letter P - dating her to 1989 and carries the makers initials; Spg & Co. The opposite internal side is correctly hallmarked (again within fancy, recessed cartouches) with the Lion passant and capital letter; P. Complete with her original silver safety chain for added piece of mind. Beautifully made and very comfortable to wear due to the slightly oval shape. Excellent, bright, clean condition with no absolutely no wear or indentations (looks to have had very little use in her 34 years service, perhaps only high days and holidays) and just a few overall extremely light and fine little (micro) surface scratches (showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
