I trade in small silver, jewellery and objets d'art. I sell primarily at antiques fairs and in cabinets in Christique Antique Centre in Dorking. I try to find unusual and interesting stock and like to keep turning it over, so I can buy more. Postage and packing are free within the UK - unless explicitly stated otherwise. All fine jewellery will be supplied with a box. If the box/case is described in the text, it will be the one photographed, but may not be if it is not mentioned explicitly. I keep hardly any stock at home, if you want to buy something and need it urgently, I will usually do it the next day, but it may take me some time to respond if you need extra photographs and/or details about the piece that I do not have to hand, as I typically visit the antiques centre just once a week. If you don't see what you're looking for - feel free to send an enquiry via the site. I have only been able to list a portion of my stock.

Description
Royal interest -I've never seen another set like it.
A cased set of 6 exceptionally fine silver royal commemorative spoons for 1936 with enamelled profile portrait terminals - by William Hair Haseler, Birmingham 1936. There are two spoons each for George V and Queen Mary (blue enamel), Edward VIII (white enamel) and George VI and Queen Elizabeth (red enamel). Each of the spoons has an entwined ribbon which, with my loupe reveals the legends - "Silver Jubillee 1910-1935" for George V and "Crowned, May 12th 1937" for both Edward VIII and George VI – spoons 10cm. Complete with original fitted case.
Presumably issued by the silversmith in an effort to make use of spoons they had made in advance of the planned coronation of Edward VIII which never happened due to his abdication
declaration
SW15Collectables has clarified that the Silver Royal Spoons for George V, Edward VIII and George VI (LA504703) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being 1936
