Silver Stauffer Open Face Pocket Watch Made in Switzerland in 1918 Worldwide Shipping!! This is an original early 20th century fine silver (0.925) S Stauffer & Co. pocket watch, made in Switzerland in 1918 and imported to the London Market. The pocket watch is attached to a linked silver chain which has an accompanying medal inscribed: Women’s Individual Medley Championship, 1954, 2nd. It is a historically significant timepiece and would make a perfect present or collector’s item! Dial:- The white enamel dial has black Arabic numerals, blued hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six. There are no hairlines or damage to the dial. Movement:- The keyless wind movement is signed Swiss Made, Ss & Co. at the top. This watch has very recently been serviced by our watchmaker and is in excellent working condition. However, due to its antique nature, we cannot guarantee precise accuracy. Case:- The pocket watch lies in silver case with a smooth finish. The inner side of the case is hallmarked Silver 0.925 and stamped Ssc. The case number is 1966420.
