This is a small antique kneehole desk. An English, mahogany writing table with Georgian revival taste, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.
Delightfully petite decorative desk, ideal for the vestibule. Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good antique order. Select stocks offers fine grain interest and rich caramel hues. Gorgeously figured flame desk top a treat for the eye.
Arranged as a full width drawer over three narrow pairs framing the kneehole. Dressed with striking batwing backplates, hosting brass drop handles. Useful cupboard residing within the kneehole offers two shelves for documents. Small twist latch to door and superb external butterfly hinges. Raised upon deep ogee bracket feet to each corner.
