Small Oak Chiming Longcase Clock

Small 18th Century style oak longcase clock made in the early 20th century. It has an oak case of simple form, with canted corners and a fielded panel base and a glazed door. The 12 inch brass dial has brass mandrels, a silvered chapter ring and a matted centre. It has an 8 day weight driven Westminster chime (Big Ben) movement that sounds the hours and quarters on 8 chime bars. it is wound by pulling the brass weights up on their chains.
