The catch and hinge work exactly as they should. The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection. The powder well is fully hallmarked and also signed Garrard & Co Ltd 112 Regent St W. The compact is suitable for loose face powder and also pressed powder. The base is decorated with a stylish engine turned design. The sifter and puff are present. A pristine velvet pouch is included. Measures 8.2 cm and weighs 120.8 grams.
