Description
A bone china gadroon shape coffee cup and saucer produced at Spode's Staffordshire factory around the period 1825-30. Decorated with an all over flamboyant gilt pattern of roses, stems and leaves against a white ground, creating quite a striking duo. The base of the cup bears the hand-written pattern number, 4217, in gold.
