Sterling Silver Bangle Georgian 1834 Spoon Bracelet King William Hallmark 9.9g

Fabulous original Georgian solid Sterling silver (hallmarked) large and chunky spoon bracelet/bangle. C~ 1834 (King William IV). (Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 6" / 15.2cm internal circumference (plus the gap is 2.4cm), 3.6cm width (taken at widest point)and weighs a heavy 29.9 grams. Has some flex so can be opened or closed a bit to give a good fit. Original large Georgian spoon which has been beautifully and lovingly hand formed at some time in its life into a bracelet / bangle. Large clear feature hallmarks to the outside (all within different shaped, recessed cartouches); Leopards head (London assay), Lion passant (Sterling silver), lower case letter; t dating to 1834 and carries the head of King William IV. The inside is beautifully engraved with a very ornate big winged letter; B - King William was known as 'Silly Billy' so curiously a connection? Probably not but we will never know. Beautifully made and very comfortable to wear due to her oval shape. Excellent, bright, clean condition with no wear and just a few overall light little surface scratches commensurate with age.
