Stunning Victorian Original Brass Double No End Bed

This stunning no end bed has beautiful original brass, gently cleaned to highlight and bring out natural patina. Beautiful detail in the brass and in the castings, which are very pretty and have great detail. Professionally restored to be sturdy and practical, the frame has been shot blasted, primed and hand painted with Little Greene’s Jack Black and waxed to preserve and give a soft sheen. The side rails have been strengthened and adapted to support wood slats or a bed base. Suitable for mattress size 4'6" x 6'3" / 135cm x 190cm Price includes wood slats (Sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2” or 4” deep upholstered bed base – Bed photographed on slats and with our Bordeaux mattress. We can supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices. Please ask for details and prices or look at base and mattress section of our own website. Bedsteads have been sourcing, restoring and retailing antique beds and bedroom furniture for over 30 years. We do have many beds awaiting restoration if you are looking for a particular style and can send images if requested. We have our own workshops located alongside our showroom in a beautiful medieval barn seven miles south of Bristol. Local, National and International delivery can be arranged.
