This is a very superior rosewood bracket clock by William Shayler of London and dating from the 19th Century. The twin fusee, 5 pillar movement strikes the hours on a bell. It has just been fully serviced by our BHI registered staff and carries our usual 12mths full parts and labour guarantee. There is engraving to the backplate and London style pendulum. The arch topped rosewood case has canted ebonised corners with brass detailed inlay. There are arched sound frets to the sides and generous detailed brass inlay throughout. It stands on 4 brass ball feet and has a brass carrying handle to the top. The 8" white painted, convex dial has black Roman numerals with finely cut hands and is signed with the makers name. It has a convex glass within a cast brass bezel.
