Tall Carved Oak Pedestal Cabinet

An impressive tall vintage carved oak pedestal cabinet circa 1920s/1930s. In beautifully figured solid oak, it features an oversailing top above a panelled door carved with a sunflower and the initials “Aww” to the lower panel. The door opens to reveal a single fixed shelf and it stands on a plinth base. It appears to have been constructed from different parts, the central carved panel being earlier (possibly from a clock cupboard) or perhaps it has been adapted from a larger piece of furniture. Still, a very attractive and useful cupboard with good colour and patina. Construction/Wood: Oak Condition Report: Beautiful colour and patina to the oak. Wear and marks commensurate with age.
