This lovely bed features a decorative head and foot panel, with brass collars with central button detail, dipped top rails, rod ends, finials and uprights. A delightfully attractive bed for a double size. Original castors. The original aged paint finish has been cleaned, and the bed has been professionally restored with side rails checked for good fit and lengthened, strengthened and adapted to support wood slats or a bed base. Suitable for modern double mattress size 135cm x 190cm mattress /4'6" x 6'3". Price includes wood slats (Sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2” deep upholstered boxed base – Bed photographed on slats. We can also supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices.
