Tasteful Victorian Iron & Brass Double Bed with Nice Upstand

This is a lovely Victorian bedstead with nice shaping in the panel, and an attractive arched upstand. Good detail in all the castings and clamps. The brass has been cleaned and polished to a nice bright shine. Whole frame shot blasted and primed prior to hand pant finish in Little Greene’s Jack Black Basalt colour, waxed and buffed well to protect and shine. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. The bed is photographed on slats with one of our Bordeaux mattresses. We can also supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices.
