The Beetles Liverpool

This is a superb 19th Century Victorian antique mahogany specimen cabinet which has spent most of it's life in a Liverpool Museum where it housed a 48 drawer collection of beetles. We have left all the labels within the drawers and inside the cupboard doors for anyone that wants to keep the history. (There are no specimens remaining). The locking by-fold doors house three banks of drawers of which one is a later replacement. All the drawers have their glass tops and are running smoothly. The whole of the cabinet (externally) has been re-polished and the lock and catches are now all working. A fabulous thing to look at and ready for it's next collection.
