Description
Traditional Art Deco mirror that consists of six individual mirrored pieces. A rectangular centre plate, four side pieces and a bottom edge section.
The centre plate is a portrait design with a deep scalloped edge along the top. It also has a rear etched Viking long ship which provides a quality feature on this superb mirror.
Of the four outer pieces these are cut in the traditional deco stepped design giving the Mirror a perspective of height. The outer two sections have a deep scalloped edge running along the outside and top while the inner two pieces are a light copper/peach colour with a rear cut bubble effect design.
Running along the bottom edge of this mirror is a Mirrored piece with the bubble effect design matching up with the two inner pieces.
This mirror is in good condition, there is some slight silvering loss effects on a couple of edges (see pics) these however are negligible. There are no nibbles or deep scratches, however there is a small chip which can’t be seen because it is under one of the lower clips.
All six mirrored pieces are mounted on a wooden backboard and attached with traditional metal clips, the original fixtures and fittings are on the rear also.
