Two Beautiful Dutch Art Deco Gloss Plated Liqueur Jugs c.1920

These are two beautiful Art Deco antique gloss plated Dutch liqueur jugs complete with original stoppers. They are from the South Plateel factory, Holland, approx. 1920's and Gloss plated These jugs have a decoration with floral motifs in black, eggplant, dark green and light green, with black stopper. These jugs are a typical example of the Dutch Jugenstil from that period. The jugs are made of hand-painted gloss earthenware. The larger jug is marked 243 Gouda Lazarus gate Holland, with a year mark of 1922, signature of painter, and in red 58 The smaller jug is marked with 592/1 Gouda Lazarus gate Holland, the signature of the painter, and in red 62. The jugs are completely intact, complete with stopper.
