The mangle board is carved with two names: the male name is Jacob Buis and the female name is Neeltje Steur.
Both names are typical old Dutch Names, this mangling board was carved for a wedding in the Fishermen’s village Edam/Volendam. This mangling board is extremely fine carved for a chip carving.
