Very Fine Stourbridge Hand Wheel Engraved Glass Vase - English c.1890

This remarkable late Victorian hand blown glass vase was manufactured in Stourbridge circa 1890 and most likely at the Webbs Factory. It is very finely wheel engraved with a deeply cut design of an exotic bird with a long slender beak and an elegant display of tail feathers standing amongst trailing stems with foliage and beautiful large flowers. On the underside the polished pontil has been finished with a hand cut star design.
