This is a very large antique decorative serving plate. A Belgian, ceramic charger with blue and white finish, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1920. It is of Impressive size, with a delightful blue & white appearance. It displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order. Substantial white ceramic hosts a fine cobalt blue decor. Centre decorated with a classic Belgian river scene. A fisherman casts his net, ahead of a charming windmill on the river bank. Deep, broad rim hosts an ornate chased foliate pattern. Maker's mark to the rear for Boch Frères Keramis with artist's initials Mg.
