This is a very large antique haberdashery cabinet. An English, oak collector's, shop retail or specimen rack, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910. Superb proportion with generous suite of storage trays Displays a desirable aged patina throughout. Light caramel hues and fine grain interest to the distinguished oak stocks. Presented with a quality wax polish finish. Upper section hosts 32 sliding document trays of useful size. Eight drawers to deep chest lower, each dressed with brass reverse cup handles. Field panel ends sit beneath a shaped crown moulding with beaded carved detail. The whole stands upon a continuous plinth base.
