Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, craquelure and some minor damage to frame ie some knocks and pieces missing but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly. This painting is quite sombre and melancholy and, although photographed in daylight, please understand that it is quite dark in reality. This item is very large and/or delicate and it is therefore recommended that it be collected from Brockley, London SE4, and is offered on this basis. It may, however, be possible for us to use a courier service to pack and send, albeit always at the buyer’s risk and expense. At this point, we cannot accurately estimate how much that would cost. Etsy, however, require a specific courier quote on the listing and therefore a notional amount has been quoted – although necessarily pitched at high amount. Rest assured, I will only charge a buyer the courier expenses at cost, as per my usual policy.
