Very Rare French Floor Standing 3D Stereoscope

This is a very rare 19th Century (c.1870) French antique walnut floor standing stereoscope viewer which is in perfect working order and comes with over 150 original viewing cards. many of the cards are rare views of Victorian London, Hong Kong and Asia all in startling 3d, lots of views of buildings, rivers and the local inhabitants of various countries. The turning handles work as they should and the lenses allow you to focus on each individual image, even the odd what the butler saw picture. As you can see from the photographs the figured walnut case is also in excellent condition with its original black detailing and stepped design. This fine rare item is also an attractive piece of furniture.
