Koos Limburg Jnr. was born in the Netherlands, but has lived in Scotland since 1994 Over the years he has build up a well established and well respected antique business by participation only on important antique fairs in the UK as well as at the continent. A Very Rare Victorian Rosewood Inlaid Barometer. The barometer is signed for F. Morath & Brothers Liverpool a well know and respected company in Liverpool in the 19th century With thermometer, the diameter of the dial is 10 inch This barometer is rare because you don’t find this kind of barometers finely inlaid with all kinds of wood marquetry with the subjects of birds and flowers. Normally the inlay is of mother of pearl or brass. English circa 1850. 102cm high 33cm wide 7 cm deep.
