Victorian Draughtsman's Table

A very cleverly designed Victorian pine industrial factory work table or Draughtsman's table. The top is hinged, allowing each end to lift up to reveal compartments beneath and one end folds over on itself at a slight angle on which to place drawings/documents etc. The cast iron base has pierced decoration and one end is numbered 60 - imagine a room filled with another 59!  The two front feet are capped in iron and are also on castors. This versatile piece of furniture could be easily placed, and used as a desk, console or hall table etc. It does have signs of wear and historic repair as would be expected from being used in an industrial setting but it is a good, solid piece of furniture.
