Wonderful mid Victorian 15ct gold & enamel photo locket. This locket is beautifully decorated with traditional foliate pattern centred with a black enamel cross. The reverse and bail of this superb high quality locket is also gold foliate decorated. It opens to reveal a photo compartment to one side with photo of a Victorian lady. The other side is engraved "In memory of A.F obt. 31 March 1874". This is a very special mourning locket that is highly collectible.
