Description
Monumental late 19th Century Victorian antique oak sideboard of impressive size and quality. It is of unusual design with large clawed feet that splay outwards to the side and front, above which is a crisply carved lower apron supporting three cupboards (with working locks and keys) and two drawers. The centre section breaks outwards and displays a fluted upper apron. The mirrored top section has it's original bevelled mirror (with blemishes but acceptable) and is supported by four pillars up to the middle shelf, above which is a superbly carved pediment of a fan design with central inner carvings. The ogee dentil cornice just finishes off this magnificent piece.
It breaks into three sections for easier transportation and the whole is in good condition for it's hundred years.
