Victorian Oak Washstand

A top quality oak washstand from the late Victorian period and very much in the Aesthetic taste. The railed back is set with Minton tiles which also run through to the lower undershelf. This particular washstand is of generous proportions and has a lovely mottled and grained black marble top. The turned legs terminate on the original pot castors and the two drawers are lined in solid mahogany and are complete with beautiful Aesthetic brass handles. In good solid condition when purchased by us but as with a great many washstands there was some old water damage so the piece has had a full strip and re-polish and is now in super condition and ready use and enjoy.
