A beautiful late Victorian rosewood veneered side cabinet, profusely inlaid with foliage, urns, swags and harebells. As with most similar styles of side cabinets it would most likely have had a raised mirror back when originally made. That said it is much more desirable in it's present form and does not detract from it's value or quality. The inlaid side doors are of serpentine form, and the glazing to the central doors have bevelled glass (this is much more pronounced in the flesh). The boxwood stringing to the sides follows through to the tapered legs terminating on spade feet. Condition is very good and the cabinet is ready to use and enjoy.
