Victorian Walnut Button Back Dressing Table Chair

A stunning antique Victorian walnut balloon back dressing table chair or bedroom chair dating from circa 1870. Featuring an elegant high button back with carved cresting rail which joins the seat with scrolling carved panels. The serpentine shaped seat is generously sized with more carving to the apron and it stands on cabriole legs to the front and swept rear legs terminating in brass and ceramic casters. The walnut frame in good original condition with beautiful patina, shaped and crisply carved in the Rococo manner. This beautiful chair would grace any room. Construction: Walnut Condition Report: Solid frame, with good colour and patina with wear and marks commensurate with age.
