I have been in the antiques business since 1962, starting in the family business in Staffordshire.
In the early 1970’s I moved to Hertfordshire where I opened my own business and created a limited company.
Today most of my business is carried out via the internet. Any successful antiques business, and particularly mine, remains a way of life and a hobby, it continues to give me enormous enjoyment and satisfaction.
I hope this is reflected by my commitment to a very high quality of service which I have always given over the years. I prefer to deliver sold items in person where possible to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Victorian Walnut Fitted Jewellery Box with Tunbridge Inlay
I have reluctantly decided that after 60 years spent in this marvellous business it is, figuratively speaking, time to hang up my cheque book. I have therefore made considerable reductions to the prices of my stock. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if any items are of interest. Still able to deliver to most areas, so if I can be of any help please do not hesitate to contact me.
Exceptional, figured walnut, fitted Victorian jewellery box with two bands of Tunbridge inlay to the top and front. This box, which has a working key, opens to reveal a fitted interior with nine glass bottles or boxes, all with their original tops, either with silver plated engraved lids or glass stoppers. This fitted top shelf can be lifted out showing a further large compartment underneath. A small knob to the side can be lifted to release spring loaded fitted drawer to one side. The original colour and polished surface of the exterior is excellent. The lining and lids of the interior tray are original and show a little natural wear. The bottles and lids are in excellent condition. The underneath of the top and the interior of the fitted side drawer have been relined.
