Quite a stunningly beautiful late Victorian washstand with the most wonderful bursting sunflower tiles to the centre. The walnut framed surround has a carved pediment whilst the top of the cupboard door is also carved above the figured walnut veneered door, which follows through to the drawer fronts. The handles look to be the original although there are signs that a different set of handles have been fitted and then reverted back to the originals. The towel rail is Victorian and made from brass but could be a replacement to the original. No woodworm present and the whole piece has had it's finish revitalised. The castors are original and all present and the drawer locks are working with a key. The marble top is white with grey graining and has also been refinished.
A superb piece with many uses around the home or business ready to enjoy.
