Vintage 0.22ct Sapphire 18ct Yellow & White Gold Brooch c.1960

This is a fine and impressive vintage 1960s 0.22 carat sapphire, 18 carat yellow and white gold Art Nouveau brooch; part of our diverse antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections. This fine and impressive vintage sapphire brooch has been crafted in 18ct yellow and white gold. The curvilinear asymmetric, Art Nouveau design is embellished with a pierced decorated white gold plateau featuring a four-claw set 0.22ct round faceted cut sapphire. This central design is encompassed with a paralleling 18ct yellow gold multi-stranded halo style border. This vintage 1960s sapphire and gold brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and clasp fastening. The reverse of the setting is hallmarked with the maker's mark (Fj) and the 18ct gold fineness mark (750, 18C). This impressive vintage Art Nouveau sapphire brooch is supplied with an independent gemstone grading report card.
