This stunning, fine and impressive vintage watch has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold with 18ct white gold settings.
The watch has a circular dial with simple applied pale hour markers.
The face clearly displays the maker's mark 'Bueche Girod' and is fitted with pencil hands.
This manual wind watch is fitted with a plain crown/winder.
The textured watch case is fitted with a circular-shaped hinged push fit cover, ornamented with an asymmetrical floral style cluster design.
The protruding three-dimensional, textured strands to the cover incorporate eleven claw set rubies and six white gold claw set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds to the centre, completing the floral design.
The imposing watch strap consists of eight chains; this creates a substantial and tactile vintage bracelet.
This unusual watch secures to one side of the watch case with a hallmarked push fit clasp and benefits from the additional security of a hinged safety clasp.
The tongue is hallmarked with the maker's mark (Rck), gold guarantee mark (crown), the 18ct gold mark (18), London assay office mark (leopard's head) and the date letter for 1964 (i); the reverse of the clasp also bears the gold guarantee mark (crown) and 18ct gold mark (18).
