Vintage 1.10ct Diamond & Cultured Pearl, Platinum & 9ct White Gold Drop Earrings c.1950

A fine and impressive pair of vintage 1.10 carat diamond and cultured pearl, platinum and 9 carat white gold drop earrings; part of our diverse pearl jewellery and estate jewelry collections. These fine and impressive vintage earrings have been crafted in platinum. Each drop earring displays a feature 9.45 mm cultured pearl terminal. The cultured pearls on these pieces of 1950s jewellery suspend to the nadir of an articulated platinum linear drop composed of six individually millegrain decorated collet set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds. The linear drops are each suspended from an impressive feature collet set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamond to the apex. These earrings for pierced ears secure to the reverse of the settings with a 9ct white gold butterfly style fastening, hallmarked with the 9ct gold fineness mark (375). The impressive pearl and diamond earrings have been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum.
