Vintage 1965 2.07ct Diamond & 18ct Yellow Gold Necklace

This is a fine and impressive 2.07 carat diamond, 18 carat yellow and 18 carat white gold necklace; part of our diverse antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections This fine and impressive vintage necklace has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold with 18ct white gold settings. The vintage gold necklace is ornamented with nine impressive collet set marquise cut diamond decorated links. Each white gold diamond link is conjoined with a plain yellow gold bar style link; this feature setting suspends from a yellow gold chain. The yellow gold chain secures to the reverse with a conventional lobster claw clasp fastening. The lever of the clasp and one side of the chain's ring loop attachment are hallmarked with the 18ct fineness marks (18, 750), and the other side of the ring loop bears the Italian origin mark (Italy), a British 18ct gold guarantee mark (crown), a London hallmark (leopard's head), in addition to the date letter for 1965 (K).
