Vintage 6.91ct Amethyst & 14ct Yellow Gold Dress Ring 1940

Fine and impressive vintage 6.91 carat amethyst and 14 carat yellow gold dress ring; part of our diverse collection of vintage amethyst jewellery. This fine and impressive oval amethyst ring has been crafted in 14ct yellow gold. The pierced decorated, multi-stranded oval frame is ornamented with a feature 6.91ct oval faceted cut amethyst, collet set in subtle relief. The tapering ring shoulders integrate with the main setting at a subtle cuff design, blending with the plain hallmarked ring shank. This oval amethyst ring in gold ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the 14ct gold fineness mark (585) and the maker's mark (Emh).
