Vintage Beech Partners Desk ex Sewing Machine Table 1960s

Mid century vintage two sided industrial sewing machine table made in the 1960s probably. Light coloured beech wood construction with some laminate. Tapered legs; central pedestal section having eight drawers: four each side; three small ones with a large deep one below. Slides pull out above the drawers which hold a plastic tray with sections. Each side of the drawers is a work space: the desk top slides out to reveal a curved based storage space; there would've been sewing machines in there which swung up to be used; they've been removed now but still a handy space. There's a vintage plug socket on one side; easily removed but it's an interesting feature and quite likely original. This would make a fabulous vintage desk for one or two people; technically a partner's desk. It could conceivably be used as an unusual kitchen table or island.
