These gold Cartier hair clips have an oval form comprised of three offset, segmented panels. Each hair accessory secures to the reverse via a hinged clip, with the added security of an undulating gripping edge to the reverse of the setting. These impressive hair grips are hallmarked with the maker's mark (Cartier Ltd), the gold guarantee mark (crown), the 18ct gold fineness mark (750), the London Assay Office mark (leopard's head), and the date letter for 1978 (D). The surface of each piece is signed 'Cartier, London' and bears the registration number '78014'. These impressive vintage clips are each fitted to the original hinged red leatherette presentation box, with a satin and velvet lined interior and securing with a push fit catch.
