Vintage Chinese Elm Desk with Slatted Undertier

This is an elegant Chinese desk dating to the 20th century. The desk has an evocative look which will suit a contemporary or vintage setting. Made of solid elm and mixed woods the desk has a large rectangular top set over four drawers, the outer two are lockable and have an unusual flat key. The drawers are finished with beautiful brass butterfly handles and to the base is a removable slatted under-tier which is in two sections. The table has a lacquered and polished finish.
