Vintage French 0.90ct Ruby, 0.90ct Sapphire & 0.80ct Diamond, Platinum Bilateral Ring c.1940

Stunning, fine and impressive vintage 1940's French 0.90 carat ruby, 0.90 carat sapphire and 0.80 carat diamond, platinum hinged bilateral ring; part of our diverse gemstone jewellery and estate jewelry collections. This stunning vintage gemstone ring has been crafted in platinum. The full eternity channel setting is ornamented with twelve rubies and twelve sapphires, all square faceted cut. This central setting is flanked with two hinged half-settings displaying an array of twenty-two pavé set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds, totalling 0.80ct. These hinged settings allow the ring to be worn in a multitude of arrangements, from a single coloured gemstone band to an asymmetric bilateral and trilateral array. The sides of the setting are plain and unembellished. The interior of the shank features two stabilising supports; these allow the ring to pass over larger knuckles and sit securely on the finger. This bilateral gemstone ring is hallmarked to the surface with the French import mark for platinum (masked man) and has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum. The ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card. Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds.
